Plant Operator

As a Plant Operator at Allan Myers, you’ll play a critical role in producing the asphalt that powers major infrastructure projects across the region. You’ll operate and monitor automated drum and batch plant systems, adjust controls and mix designs to meet quality specifications, and coordinate truck loading and dispatch to keep production on schedule. Working closely with quality control, paving crews, project teams, and customers, you’ll balance production needs, quality, and efficiency while minimizing waste and downtime. This role also includes planning daily and next‑day production, ordering raw materials, completing required reporting, and assisting with preventive and repair maintenance.
