Field Operations

Short Description

Field managers, also known as foremen, are the on-site, hands-on leaders of small construction crews, usually around 4 to 10 people. You are out in the trenches, working alongside the team, showing them what to do, and making sure the job gets done correctly. Field managers keep track of daily progress, manage materials on site, and solve any immediate problems that pop-up.

You collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure successful project completion within established timelines and quality standards. You’ll be making decisions and running the show on the job site, coordinating all the workers and suppliers, as well as talking to clients and inspectors regularly. You are responsible for ensuring the quality of the work and maintaining accurate records. Your leadership, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for keeping the project on track and within budget, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of the project.
